In 1981, following various negotiations and proposals between the present Chairman of the Abbess Adelicia Charity and the then Lord Salisbury (since deceased) the owner of the Ilford Hospital Chapel complex, the site, including the Chapel and a ?50,000 endowment was transferred to the newly formed Abbess Adelicia Charity which has administered the Ilford Hospital Chapel complex ever since.
