(1) THE SPONSORSHIP OR FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF CLINICAL RESEARCH INTO MENTAL ILLNESS AND THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT THEREOF FOR THE PURPOSE OF PUBLIC DISSEMINATION OF THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH INCLUDING (WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) THE PROVISION MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF EQUIPMENT THE PAYMENT OF ALL OUTGOINGS INCLUDING STAFF SALARIES TRAVEL AND OTHER EXPENSES AND THE COSTS AND EXPENSES OF PUBLICATION IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH RESEARCH, OR TO OR FOR (2) SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES OR SUCH CHARITABLE FOUNDATIONS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DETERMINE.
