Activities - how the charity spends its money

Founded in 1975 to run Emsworth Community Centre, it promotes health and wellbeing of the people of Emsworth and neighbouring areas. A Centre for education, recreation and social activities in premises which are both accessible and comfortable. Hosting over 60 regular activities each week, plus group talks, special events, films and private functions. All ages and backgrounds are welcome.

Charitable objects

(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF EMSWORTH AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITHE THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.
