TO PROMOTE THE PERMANENT PRESERVATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY, AND ESPECIALLY THE INGABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF WALDRON OF LANDS AND BUILDINGS OF BEAUTY OR HISTORIC INTEREST, AND, AS REGARDS LANDS, ALSO OF ECOLOGICAL OR OTHER SCIENTIFIC IMPORTANCE WITHIN THE SAID PARISH AND GENERALLY TO PROTECT PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN THE CHARACTER AND AMENITIES OF THE SAID PARISH.
