THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS, ILLNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AMONG PEOPLE RESIDING PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN FERNDOWN AND ST LEONARDS AND SURROUNDING AREAS, REGARDLESS OF AGE, HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGES. 3. TO PROVIDE PHYSICAL AIDS, EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVICES [NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED OR AVAILABLE FROM THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES] ANCILLARY TO THOSE PROVIDED BY THE DOCTORS, TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM PHYSICAL ILLNESS OF ANY DESCRIPTION OR IN NEED OF REHABILITATION RESULTING FROM ILLNESS OR INJURY. 4. TO PROVIDE FACILITIES, SUPPORT SERVICES, EQUIPMENT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES TO BE PLACED IN THE COMMUNITY OR AT ANY MEDICAL FACILITY IN FERNDOWN AND ST LEONARDS AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. 5.
