THE RELIEF AND PREVENTION OF SUFFERING CAUSED BY MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILL HEALTH IN THE U.K. AND ALL OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROVIDE SPECIALISED TRAINING, RESIDENTIAL OR EXTERNAL, FOR MENTALLY AND/OR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CHILDREN YOUTHS AND ADULTS TO ENABLE THEM AS FAR AS POSSIBLE TO PARTICIPATE AND SHRE IN THE LIFE OF THE COMMUNITY.
