(1) MAKING PAYMENTS OR GRANTS TO OR OTHERWISE ASSISTING NECESSITOUS FARMERS, FARMWORKERS OR THEIR DEPENDANTS IN THE COUNTY OF EAST SUSSEX IN SUCH MANNER AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.(2) IF AND IN SO FAR AS THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY CANNOT BE APPLIED TOWARDS THE OBJECT SPECIFIED ABOVE, THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY IT IN MAKING PAYMENTS AND GRANTS TO OR OTHERWISE ASSISTING NECESSITOUS FARMERS, FARMWORKERS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS IN THE COUNTIES OF KENT, SURREY AND WEST SUSSEX IN SUCH MANNER AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.
