TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN SHIPPING, OLD AND MODERN, IN LOWESTOFT AND DISTRICT IN THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK AND IN THE TRADES AND CRAFTS ASSOCIATED WITH SHIPPING AND SHIPPING LORE IN GENERAL AND IN PARTICULAR TO MAINTAIN A MUSEUM AND/OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF A MARITIME SECTION OF A MUSEUM IN LOWESTOFT.
