THE RELIEF OF THE DISTRESS AND SUFFERING EXPERIENCED BY NEEDY ASIAN WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN WIDOWED OR WHO HAVE BEEN ABANDONED OR PERSISTENTLY MALTREATED MENTALLY OR PHYSICALLY BY MEN, WHO MAY OR MAY NOT BE THEIR HUSBANDS, AND THE CHILDREN OF SUCH WOMEN.
