Amebdkar International Mission caters to the religious needs of the Buddhist Community primarily in East London but also has affiliates in other cities and towns. The organisation is founded after DR B R Ambedkar who championed the cause of the 'Untouchables' during the British Raj who was also the Chief Architect of the Indian Constitution when India achieved independence.
