TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, A MUSEUM AND EXHIBITIONS FOR THE PERMANENT PRESERVATION AND DISPLAY OF ENGINES, MACHINERY, EQUIPMENT AND RELICS OF HISTORIC AND EDUCATIONAL IMPORTANCE IN CONNECTION WITH THE WORK OF THOMAS RUSSELL CRAMPTON AND TRANSPORT IN GENERAL.
