TO PREVENT THE LOSS OF LIFE AT SEA BY, IN PARTICULAR, THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN EFFICIENT INSHORE LIFEBOAT SERVICE IN FULL CO-OPERATION WITH OTHER SERVICES AND TO PUBLICLY PROMOTE SEA SAFETY, WITH THE INTENT OF PREVENTING OR MINIMISING THE NUMBER OF MARITIME EMERGENCIES, BY PROVIDING THE TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SUITABLE TRAINING OF PERSONNEL FOR MARITIME SAFETY AND RELATED SKILLS
