THE RELIEF OF THE BLIND AND PARTIALLY SIGHTED BY PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS SERVICES OR FACILITIES WHICH ARE CALCULATED TO PREVENT OR CURE BLINDNESS AND TO ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OR ASSIST IN THE RECOVERY OF THE BLIND AND PARTIALLY SIGHTED AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO DISEASES OF THE EYE AND ALLIED SUBJECTS.
