TO PROMOTE THE PRACTICE AND PERFORMANCE OF BAND MUSIC IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THE PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND KNOWLEDGE OF SUCH MUSIC BY MEANS OF CONCERTS AND OTHER PUBLIC PERFORMANCES AND TO ASSIST CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS.
