Charitable objects
(I) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE A CONCERN FOR SOUND PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN IN ALL THOSE SPHERES TO WHICH DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS MAY APPLY; (II) TO FURTHER THE PRACTICE OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN; (III) TO SECURE FOR THE BENEFIT OF INDUSTRY COMMERCE AND THE PUBLIC A DEFINED AND RECOGNISED PROFESSION OF PERSONS WELL QUALIFIED TO BE DESIGNERS; (IV) TO REGULATE AND CONTROL FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT ALL MATTERS OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE AND CONDUCT CONCERNING THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY; TO ENCOURAGE AND FOSTER THE STUDY OF DESIGN TECHNIQUES.
