Charitable objects
The charity’s objects (‘the objects’) are To promote public interest and understanding of archaeology, history and related subjects to people in the Maidenhead and Marlow area of the Thames Valley through: Public education about archaeology, history and related subjects; Arranging talks and public displays, issuing newsletters, reports and other publications, arranging visits to sites of archaeological and historical interest; Research into archaeology and history; Archaeological field-work and investigations in the local and surrounding areas; Promoting, collaborating with and supporting other local groups with common interests; Campaigning for and advocating the appropriate treatment of significant sites, monuments and buildings of archaeological or historical importance in the local area.
