Charitable objects

THE OBJECTS OF THE PRAGATI SANGRIA ARE TO DISSEMINATE AND ADVICE HINDU RELIGION AMONG OTHERS. IN FURTHERANCE OF THE AFORESAID PRINCIPAL OBJECTS BUT NOT OTHERWISE THE PRAGATI SANGHA SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING POWERS: (A) OPEN A HINDU TEMPLE TO PROVIDE PLACES AND FACILITATE RELIGIOUS WORSHIP. (B) ACCEPT AND MANAGE ENDOWMENTS, DONATIONS, TRUST, AND GIFTS. (C) TO CELEBRATE RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL FESTIVALS. (D) PRINT AND DISTRIBUTE RELIGIOUS LEAFLETS. (E) TO DO ALL SUCH THINGS AS SHALL BE IN CONFORMITY WITH THE OBJECTS OF THE PRAGATI SANGHA. (F) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AMONGST BENGALI, INDIAN AND OTHER PEOPLE. (G) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AMONG BENGALI, INDIAN AND OTHER PEOPLE INCLUDING THROUGH THE PROVISION OF LITERACY, NUMERACY, LANGUAGE AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CLASSES.
