(A) TO ADVANCE, DEVELOP, IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN THE EDUCATION OF CITIZENS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND AND EUROPEAN COUNTRIES IN THE SCIENCE, ART, LITERATURE, MUSIC, HISTORY, ECONOMICS, PHILOSOPHY, CULTURE, WAY OF LIFE, POLITICS AND OTHER RECOGNISED SUBJECTS OF ACADEMIC STUDY OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES. (B) TO RESEARCH INTO THE AFOREMENTIONED FIELDS AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
