Charitable objects
(A) TO PROMOTE THE PERMANENT PRESERVATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE ISLE OF WIGHT OF THE AREA OF THE NAVIGABLE PART OF THE RIVER MEDINA IN THE ISLE OF WIGHT AND THE LAND FORMING THE MEDINA VALLEY AND GENERALLY TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE CHARACTER AND AMENITIES OF THE AREA. (B) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE ISLE OF WIGHT BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 2 OF CONSTITUTION).
