Charitable objects
(A) TO RELIEVE POVERTY, HARDSHIP, SICKNESS OR DISTRESS AMONG PERSONS WHO HAVE SUFFERED THE SAME AS A RESULT OF ANY CRIMINAL OFFENCE COMMITTED BY ANY PERSON OR THROUGH ANY MEANS WHATSOEVER AND AMONG THE FAMILIES OF SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE IN SIMILAR NEED IN SUCH WAYS AS THE COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT OF THE SCHEME MAY THINK FIT; AND (B) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION BY RESEARCH INTO ISSUES RELATING TO THE VICTIMS OF CRIME AND THEIR FAMILIES AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
