TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC CONCERNING THE INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO EMOTIONAL PHYSICAL AND SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS AND WITH A VIEW TO DEVELOPING PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ENRICHING FAMILY LIFE. 2. TO ELLEVIATE THE HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS CAUSED BY THE BREAKUP OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH, BOTH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL OF ADULTS AND CHILDREN INVOLVED THEREIN. 3. TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF SUCH BREAKUP AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS THEROF.
