(1) THE ADVANCEMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NATURAL SCIENCES AND IN PARTICULAR ORNITHOLOGY AND AVICULTURE; THE ENCOURAGEMENT AND THE CARRYING OUT OF RESEARCH THEREIN AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR SUCH RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF SUCH RESEARCH AND OTHER BOOKS AND LITERATURE RELATING TO THE NATURAL SCIENCES AND IN PARTICULAR ORNITHOLOGY AND AVICULTURE.(2) SUCH OBJECTS AND PURPOSES IN THE BRITISH ISLES BEING OBJECTS AND PURPOSES EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES.
