The Association objectives are to advance, for the benefit of its members and the public, education and research in aviation medicine. An Annual Scientific Meeting provides a forum for discussion of research, an exchange of information and learning, in aviation medicine. The Association is also actively involved in appraisal support for its members. The Association liaises with the UK CAA.
