Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE, BY SUCH MEANS AS ARE CHARITABLE: (A) TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE SCIENCE AND ART OF NURSING; (B) TO ADVANCE THE BETTER EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF STUDENT NURSES TRAINING FOR A STATUTORY NURSING QUALIFICATION AND THE FURTHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF REGISTERED NURSES; (C) TO PROMOTE RESEARCH AND INVESTIGATION INTO MATTERS RELATING TO NURSING; (D) TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO, BY REASON OF AGE OR INFIRMITY, HAVE RETIRED FROM OR ARE UNABLE TO CONTINUE ACTIVE NURSING; (E) TO MAKE GRANTS TO, OR PROVIDE PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTS OF, THE NURSES WELFARE SERVICE (OR ANY SUCCESSOR BODY).
