TO PROMOTE THE WELL-BEING OF DEAF PEOPLE AND THEIR LANGUAGE AND COMMUNITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM (A) RESEARCH INTO THE PROBLEMS CAUSED BY THIS DISABILITY AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH; (B) THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE EDUCATION OF DEAF PEOPLE AND THE TRAINING OF THOSE CONCERNED WITH DEAF PEOPLE'S WELFARE.
