Charitable objects

1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY AND ARCHITECTURE OF THE LOCALITY THROUGH THE HOLDING OF MEETINGS, LECTURES, AND EXHIBITIONS. 2. TO UNDERTAKE AND PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY AND ARCHITECTURE OF THE LOCALITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. 3. TO PROMOTE THE PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT IN THE LOCALITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.
