Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("OBJECTS") ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING; (1) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP BY THE PROVISION OF FREE LEGAL ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS WHO, THROUGH LACK OF MEANS, WOULD OTHERWISE BE UNABLE TO OBTAIN SUCH ADVICE. (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF HORTICULTURE AND IN THE GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY, NATURAL HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE OF HOXTON. (3) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF HOXTON/SHOREDITCH IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP TO MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE FULLY IN SOCIETY (4) THE PROMOTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF URBAN REGENERATION IN AREAS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEPRIVATION (AND IN PARTICULAR IN HOXTON IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HACKNEY) (5) SUCH OTHER MEANS AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED BY THE TRUST, SUBJECT TO PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS FOR ENGLAND & WALES
