THE PURPOSE OF THE FUND IS TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO PRESENT OR FORMER PLAYERS, MATCH OFFICIALS, CLUB OFFICIALS, OFFICERS OF THE LEAGUE OR OTHER WHO HAVE RENDERED SERVICE TO THE LEAGUE OR TO THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY OF SUCH PERSONS IN CASES OF NEED.
