(A) TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC STUDY OF BRITISH FAMILY HISTORY, GENEALOGY, HERALDRY AND LOCAL HISTORY WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO WILTSHIRE. (B) TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION, SECURITY AND ACCESS ABLITY OF ARCHIVAL MATERIAL.
