Charitable objects
TO ACQUIRE RESTORE PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN EITHER ALONE OR IN ASSOCIATION WITH ANY OTHER BODY OR PERSONS THE FABRIC OF THE BUILDING KNOWN AS THE CHAPEL OF SAINT LAWRENCE IN THE PARISH OF ASHBURTON IN THE COUNTY OF DEVON (AND WITH THE CONSENT IN WRITING OF THE CHARITY COMMISSION ANY ADJACENT OR ADJOINING BUILDINGS) IN ORDER TO MAKE IT SUITABLE FOR USE AS A CULTURAL AND VISITORS' CENTRE, A PUBLIC MUSEUM OF LOCAL AND ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY AND OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL IN PARTICULAR FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY BE APPROVED BY THE DARTMOOR NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY.
