Charitable objects
TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE OF THE CHURCH OF ST. MARY SOUTH STONEHAM AND THE HISTORY, HERITAGE AND SOCIAL LIFE OF THE COMMUNITIES WHICH IT HAS SERVED DOWN THE AGES AND TO ASSIST IN THE MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, PRESERVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE FABRIC AND FURNISHINGS OF THE CHURCH OR ANY PART THEREOF AND TO ASSIST IN THE MAINTENANCE OF THE CHURCHYARD THEREOF AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL CONSIDER APPROPRIATE. TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH AND THE COMMUNITY AND DISTRICTS WHICH IT HAS SERVED WITH A VIEW TO PROPAGATING THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
