Charitable objects

1. THE RELIEF EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY OF PERSONS PROFESSING THE JEWISH FAITH OR THEIR DESCENDANTS IN EASTERN EUROPE OR ELSEWHERE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. 2. THE ADVANCEMENT AMONG SUCH PERSONS OF THE JEWISH RELIGION AND OF EDUCATION IN THE PRACTICES AND TRADITIONS THEREOF AND THE PROMOTION OF JEWISH HISTORY AND CULTURE. 3. THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION CONCERNING THE PRACTICE AND HISTORICAL ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CAUSES OF RACIAL RELIGIONS AND POLITICAL PERSECUTION AND PROFESSIONAL DISCRIMINATION AND THE DENIAL OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE PROBLEMS OF RESETTLING AND REHABILITATING THE VICTIMS THEREOF BY MEANS OF RESEARCH INTO SUCH PRACTICE AND CAUSES AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
