1. THE RELIEF EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY OF PERSONS PROFESSING THE JEWISH FAITH OR THEIR DESCENDANTS WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD. 2. THE ADVANCEMENT AMONG SUCH PERSONS OF THE JEWISH RELIGION AND OF EDUCATION IN THE PRACTICES AND TRADITIONS OF THAT RELIGION AND THE PROMOTION OF JEWISH HISTORY AND CULTURE. 3. THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION CONCERNING THE HISTORICAL ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CAUSES OF RACIAL, RELIGIOUS AND POLITICAL PERSECUTION AND THE DENIAL OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE PROBLEMS OF RESETTLING AND REHABILITATING THE VICTIMS THEREOF BY MEANS OF RESEARCH INTO SUCH CASES AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
