TO APPLY THE INCOME AND ALL OR SUCH PART OR PATS OF THE CAPITAL THEROF FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION AND FOR OR TOWARDS SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS PROMOTE THE STUDY OF THE CHRISTIANSPIRATUALITY OF ST FRANCIS AND OF THE SIMPLICITY POVERTY PRAYER AND JOY EXEMPLIFIED BY THE LIVE OF ST FRANCIS AND ST CLARE AT SAN DAMIANO AND UPHELD BY THE FRANCISCAN ORDER AT SAN DAMIANO AND IMITATED IN THEIR WAY OF LIFE AND CONFIRMED CONSISTENTLY IN THEIR PUBLICATIONS AND WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF TH EFOREGOING TO PROMOTE THE FOLLOWING TWO OBJECTS: (A) THE PRACTICE OF LITURGICAL CHRISTIAN WORSHIP AND PRAYER AT THE SHRINE OF SAINT FRANCIS AT SAN DAMIANO AFORESAID. (B) THE RELIGIOUS BENEFIT OF PILGRIMS AS PART OF THE PASTROL WORK OF THE ORDER OF FRAIRS MINOR AT THE MONASTERY OF SAN DAMIANO AS AFORESAID.
