THE OBJECTS OF THE GROUP SHALL BE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN HE ARTS AND IN PARTICULAR THE ARTS OF DRAMA AND LITERATURE AND TO MAINTAIN THE PLAYHOUSE, BACKWELL AS A THEATRE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.
