TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE TREATMENT AND RELIEF OF PHYSICAL, MENTAL OR EMOTIONAL ILLNESS, DISORDER OR DISABILITY SUFFERED BY ANY PERSON AS A RESULT OF THAT PERSON OR A MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY, HAVING UNDERGONE IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD PHYSICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL TORTURE OR ILL-TREATMENT AND 2. TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL NEEDS SUFFERED BY ANY PERSON WHO OR A MEMBER OF WHOSE FAMILY HAS UNDERGONE IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD PHYSICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL TORTURE OR ILL-TREATMENT.
