(I) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY PROVIDING AND ADMINISTERING A BURSARY TO ENABLE A NEEDY MEMEBER OF THE PUBLIC TO STUDY ECONOMICS AT THE CITY OF LONDON POLYTECHNIC. (II) TO ADVANCE EDCATION BY ARRANGING OCCASIONAL PUBLIC LECTURES IN ECONOMIC TOPICS.
