(1) TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTISTIC LITERARY AND OTHER WORK OF THE LATE JUDITH ACKLAND AND TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC AFTER HER DEATH IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTISTIC LITERARY AND OTHER WORK OF MARY STELLA EDWARDS AND (2) TO ACQUIRE AND HEREAFTER PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN THE CABIN AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN MEMORY OF JUDITH ACKLAND AND MARY STELLA EDWARDS AS A PLACE OF ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST AND NATURAL BEAUTY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
