(A) FOR THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF POOR AND NEEDY PERSONS, IRRESPECTIVE OF COLOUR, RACE OR CREED, INCLUDING LEPERS, WHO ARE DESTITUTE OUT-CASTS, WHOM ST FRANCIS OF ASSISSI CALLED "THE MOST AFFLICTED OF CHRIST'S POOREST OF THE POOR", HAVING REGARD IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING TO THE NEEDS OF THE ORDER OF THE CHARITY (BRITISH SECTION) AND THE MOTERH THERESA COMMITTEE; (B) FOR SUCH GENERAL BUT EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR DISCRETION FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
