Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Palmerston Forts Society acts as a forum for research on the Victorian Fortifications of the Portsmouth area and the U.K. A journal is published each year. The Society arranges work parties and educational programmes of lectures, talks and visits to forts. A section of the Society is the Portsdown Artillery Volunteers who regularly perform authentic Victorian gun drills and firings.
