Charitable objects
TO RECEIVE SUBSCRIPTIONS, DONATIONS AND BEQUESTS AND TO PAY DONATIONS TO ANY BODY OR INSTITUTION ESTABLISHED FOR SOLELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES, WHETHER MASONIC OR NON-MASONIC, AND ALSO TO ASSIST FREEMASONS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF LODGES IN THE PROVINCE OF SUFFOLK AND THE WIVES, WIDOWS, CHILDREN AND OTHER DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS BEING IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, BY MAKING GRANTS OR SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL THINK FIT.
