Charitable objects

THE PURPOSE OF THE TRUST SHALL BE TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF LEADERSHIP IN THE POLICE FORCES OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS FOLLOWS:- A. BY MAKING SUCH AWARD OR AWARDS OF A PRIZE TO SUCH STUDENT OR STUDENTS OF THE POLICE STAFF COLLEGE BRAMSHILL AND UPON SUCH OCCASIONS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE, PROVIDED ALWAYS THAT THE TRUSTEES MAY ACCUMLATE INCOME DURING SUCH PERIOD AS IS ALLOWED BY LAW. B. IN SO FAR AS THERE ARE RESOURCES AVAILABLE NOT LIKELY TO BE REQUIRED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PARAGRAPH (A) OF THE CLAUSE BY SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.
