THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST SHALL BE TO RELIEVE NEED HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AMONG PERSONS LIVING IN DEPRIVED AND DECAYED URBAN AREAS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY THE PROVISION OF SUCH ASSISTANCE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE IN ORDER TO HELP SUCH PERSONS TO OBTAIN NECESSARY COMMUNITY FACILITIES AND TO IMPROVE THEIR ENVIRONMENT AND TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG SUCH OF THEIR NUMBER WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED.
