THE RELIEF OF POVERTY IN CASES OF NEED AND THE PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN DISTRESSED CIRCUMSTANCES AMONGST THE FOLLOWING CLASSES OF PERSONS: 1. MEMBERS 2. BONA-FIDE DEPENDANTS OF MEMBERS 3. BONA-FIDE DEPENDANTS OF DECEASED MEMBERS 4. PAST MEMBERS OF THE BRANCH OR OF THE FUND WHO HAVE CEASED EMPLOYMENT BY VIRTUE OF AGE OR HEALTH, AND WHO AT THE TIME OF LEAVING THAT EMPLOYMENT, WERE MEMBERS OF THE BRANCH OR OF THE FUND. 5. BONA-FIDE DEPENDANTS OF PAST MEMBERS OF THE BRANCH OR OF THE FUND AS DEFINED IN (4) ABOVE. 6. BONA-FIDE DEPENDANTS OF DECEASED MEMBERS OF THE FUND AS DEFINED IN (4) ABOVE.
