Charitable objects
(I) THE PROMOTION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ROYAL NAVY AND IN PARTICUALAR THE CREWS OF POLARIS SUBMARINES OR SUCH OTHER ROYAL NAVY VESSELS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE BY THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE SAID CREWS. (II) THE RELIEF EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY OF MEMBERS OF THE SAID CREWS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT.
