TO RECEIVE SUBSCRIPTIONS, DONATIONS AND BEQUEST AND TO PAY DONATIONS TO ANY BODY OR INSTITUTION ESTABLISHED FOR SOLELY CHARITALBE PURPOSES, WHETHER MASONIC OR NON-MASONIC AND ALSO TO ASSIST MEMBERS OF THE VIRTUE AND SILENCE LODGE AND THE WIVES, CHILDREN AND OTHER DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS BEING IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, BY MAKING GRANTS OR IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE PERMANENT COMMITTEE THINK FIT.
