Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE THE RESTORATION AND PERMANENT PRESERVATION OF THE CHURCH OF ST AGATHA, LANDPORT IN THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH AS A BUILDING OF HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND ARTISTIC INTEREST FOR THE EDUCATION AND BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH AND THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL IN SUCH A WAY AS TO ENABLE THE CHURCH OR PARTS THEREOF TO BE USED AS: (I) A PUBLIC HERITAGE CENTRE PRESENTING WITH THE AID OF WXHIBITIONS AND DISPLAYS THE HISTORY OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH AND ITS BUILDINGS AND THEIR OWNERS OCCUPIERS ARCHITECTS AND CRAFTSMEN. (II) A PUBLIC MUSEUM OF ECCLESIOLOGY AND FOR PERMANENT EXHIBITIONS OF STAINED GLASS AND CHURCH PLATE AND OF THE WORKS OR ARTISTS R ARCHITECTS CONNECTED WITH THE CHURCH AND OF THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH AND ITS FORMER PARISH. (III) A CONCERT HALL. (IV) A PLACE OF WORSHIP. (V) ANY OTHER USE WHICH IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES SHALL BE CONSISTENT WITH THE SAID OBJECTS.
