THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OF PERSONS PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY RESIDENT IN CORNWALL (WHICH SHALL INCLUDE THE ISLES OF SCILLY) IN PARTICULAR SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM DISEASES OF THE GASTRO-INTESTINAL TRACTS, THE LIVER AND THE PANCREAS PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF SUCH PERSONS INCLUDING PROVISION OF ALL FACILITIES ANCILLARY THERETO AND BY THE PROVISION OF THE FACILITIES TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO SUCH DISEASES AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS
