Charitable objects
(A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF TRAINING OF THE ESSEX ARMY CADET FORCES IN RELIGIOUS, MORAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES, THE BETTER TO FIT THE MEMBER OF SUCH FORCE FOR SERVICE IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN OR OTHERWISE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY. (B) THE ADVANCEMENT OF TRAINING IN SHOOTING AND SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AS ARE EXPRESSLY CALCULATED TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ESSEX ARMY CADET FORCE AS POTENTIAL MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN. (C) THE GENERAL TRAINING AND INSPIRATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ESSEX ARMY CADET FORCE TO SERVE THEIR QUEEN AND COUNTRY, IN PARTICULAR IN DEVELOPING THEIR CHARACTERS AND POWERS OF LEADERSHIP, BY INSTILLING IN THEM THE SOLDIERLY QUALITIES OF DISCIPLINE, INITIATIVE AND SELF-RELIANCE, BY AROUSING THEIR INTEREST IN THE ARMY AND ITS TRADITIONS AND BY TEACHING THEM THE DUTIES OF A GOOD CITIZEN.
