Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION BY ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: (I) THE PROVISION OF A SOCIAL WELFARE CENTRE OR CENTRES WITHIN WHICH INDOOR RECREATIONAL FACILITIES, MEETING OR LECTURE ROOMS OR SIMILAR FACILITIES CAN BE PROVIDED; (II) THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A RECREATION GROUND (WHICH INCLUDES MAKING PITCHES AVAILABLE FOR ORGANISED GAMES AND SPORTS); (III) THE PROVISION, MAINTENANCE, AND/OR SUPPORT OF A YOUTH CLUB OR SUCH OTHER FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF BENEFICIARIES WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID BENEFICIARIES. SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CLAUSES 22 AND 24, THE PROPERTY NUMBERED 1, 2, 4 AND 6 IN THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY.
